Data-breach detection
Pro feature
Requires a MIA Pro subscription.
MIA checks whether your users' emails appear in known data breaches (via the Have I Been Pwned service), to alert you to potentially compromised accounts.
How it works
- Your users' and their accesses' emails are checked against known breaches — notably when they're added and when new breaches are published.
- A compromised email is flagged with an alert icon next to the address, in the users, access and anomalies lists.
- On hover, you see the breach details (source, dates). You can mark a breach as seen to track your handling.
Notifications
- A summary email flags newly compromised emails.
- A periodic reminder (weekly or monthly, your choice) lists the breaches still to handle.
Good to know
Without a Pro subscription, no check is performed. An icon simply appears next to emails to remind you that breach detection is available in the Pro plan — it doesn't mean a breach was found.
