Two-factor authentication (2FA)

Strengthen your MIA account security with two-factor authentication via a time-based code (TOTP), using an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password…).

Enabling 2FA

From Settings → General:

1. Open the two-factor authentication setup.
2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the key manually).
3. Enter the generated 6-digit code to confirm.

Two-factor authentication is now active on your account.

At sign-in

Once enabled, every sign-in asks — after your password — for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.

Good to know

• Two-factor authentication is optional and available on all accounts.
• Keep access to your authenticator app safe: it's what generates your sign-in codes.
