TeamViewer application

TeamViewer is a remote support and access platform. MIA connects to it to inventory the active users in your company and manage their access.

Authentication type and prerequisites

Authentication type — Script token

Prerequisites

Have a company administrator account and a TeamViewer plan that provides access to the User Management API.

Connection steps

1. In TeamViewer, open your avatar, then Edit profile → Apps & Tokens.
2. Click Create app or token, then choose Script token. No script code is required.
3. For example, use MIA as the name and User management by MIA as the description, then grant only the permissions required to view, create, and delete users.
4. Create the token and copy its value.
5. In MIA, open Applications → Add an application, search for TeamViewer, paste only the token value (without the Bearer prefix), then click Connect.

Opening access creates the TeamViewer account. Closing access removes the user from the company without permanently deleting their TeamViewer account.
