GitBook is a collaborative documentation platform. MIA connects to it to inventory your organization's members and manage their access.

Authentication type — API key
Prerequisites
Be an administrator of the GitBook organization and have an API token with access to that organization.
Connection steps
- In GitBook, open Settings → Developer settings → Personal access tokens, then create a personal access token.
- In MIA, open Applications → Add an application, search for GitBook, then enter the token.
- Click Connect, then select the GitBook organization to synchronize from the available organizations.
- Member synchronization starts automatically after this selection.
MIA can invite a member with the Admin, Creator, Editor, Reviewer, Commenter, or Reader role, then remove their organization access.
