Dashlane is a password manager. MIA connects to it to inventory the users of your organization and manage their access.

Authentication type — API key

Prerequisites

Be an administrator of a Dashlane business plan. The MIA connector uses the Dashlane public API to read plan members.

Connection steps

1. Log in to the Dashlane Admin Console with an administrator account.
2. Generate a key for the Dashlane public API from the Admin Console or with the Dashlane CLI, depending on the method available for your organization.
3. Copy the generated key and store it in a secrets manager. The key does not expire automatically; revoke and regenerate it if it is compromised or replaced.
4. In MIA, open Applications → Add an application, search for Dashlane, enter the API key, then click Connect.
