1Password application
1Password is a password manager for individuals and businesses. MIA uses the Users API to inventory active users in your account and suspend their access during offboarding.
Authentication type and prerequisites

Public Preview API
The 1Password Users API is currently in Public Preview and requires a 1Password Business (Enterprise Password Manager) account with permission to manage integrations. It is not supported for accounts using automated provisioning.
Connection steps
- In 1Password, open Integrations → Directory → OAuth Application.
- Create an application with the List users and Suspend users scopes, then generate the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Find your 1Password account ID. It appears in API URLs and resources.
- In MIA, open Applications → Add an application, search for 1Password, then enter the account ID, Client ID, and Client Secret.
- Select your account region from the list: Global (
.com), Europe (.eu), or Canada (.ca).
Removing access in MIA suspends the user in 1Password. The API cannot create or invite a new user.
